Shabbat Ha’azinu and Sukkot at Bet David

Sukkot SameachWe would like to thank everyone who took part and participated in our High Holy Day services, and helped us to make them so meaningful. A special thank you to the Choir and to the whole Bet David staff.

After Yom Kippur is before Sukkot with its wonderful services and celebrations.

We invite you to join us for services this coming Shabbat, Sunday evening, and Monday:

Shabbat Ha’azinu

Friday 25 September
18.00 Kabbalat Shabbat Service;
18.00 Child-care in the Youth Centre

Saturday 26 September
08.30 Religion School includes Sukkah decorating – all children are welcomed to help. (last lesson for this term. Religion School re-opens on 17 October);
10.00 Shabbat Morning Service
followed by a b’rachah, sponsored by a congregant to thank those that did Shammas duty, and the medical and security people who were on standby over the High Holy Days.
10.30-11.30 Children’s Service

Sukkot:

Sunday 27 September
18.00 Sukkot evening service followed by a bring-and-share-dinner in the Sukkah;
18.00 Child-care in the Youth Centre

Monday 28 September –
10.00 Sukkot morning service
followed by a b’rachah in the Sukkah. Rabbi Sa’ar Shaked and members of our sister congregation Beit Emanuel will join us for this festive service.
10.30-11.30 Children’s Service (Youth Centre)
