YOM HASHOA 2017
Thank you to each and every one of you who came to honour those killed in the Shoah, and to support the SAUPJ in their quest for the equality of women. The turnout at the first part of the ceremony surpassed my expectations and proved that our mission to once again hear the voices of women was a worthwhile exercise. Any constructive suggestions on how you think the ceremony could be improved will be gratefully received.
Kind regards, Monica Solomon; National Chair, SAUPJ
Kehillah Visit To Alex—visiting Granny Evelyn and the feeding scheme
On Monday (24 April), some of the Kehillah ladies paid a visit to Granny Evelyn’s creche in Alex.
They went to deliver a few jerseys and goods to Granny Evelyn. While there, they also visited where the feeding scheme operates from.
Lali Gerber said it was an eye opening experience and was very interesting.

If you are ever interested in visiting, please let the office or Kehillah ladies know.
