Devarim — More than words!
In two weeks’ time, we will begin with the reading of the 5th book of the Torah, called Devarim. It contains the fare well words of Moses to the Israelites in the wilderness. Not only the departing words of Moses make this part of the Torah worth to study each parasha, but also the way the book reflects on the time passed since the exodus and how it (re-)introduces laws and values for the generations to come.
