Shabbat Tazria-Metzorah

Dear congregants, friends and supporters of Bet David,

While writing these words, we still don’t know what measures the government will announce for the time immediately after this lockdown period. No one thinks that the lockdown will be lifted completely, but perhaps in a way that will allow all of us, to have more physical social contact.

We, here at Bet David, have started to think about how to proceed in the coming weeks, finding a balance between ensuring that we can uphold the religious life of our community and keeping each and everyone of us safe. For now, we will continue to stream services from home and to teach our children and students online.

Over the past weeks we have all learned new skills perfecting these kinds of services and classes, and the way how so many of you have contributed to the success and  meaningfulness of our services deserves a big round of applause. Thank you all.

As we are about to enter the next week of the lockdown, we would like to invite you to our upcoming online services and shiurim.  Wishing you and your families Shabbat Shalom.

Shabbat Shalom—Rabbi Adrian M Schell
