Shabbat Matot-Mas’ei @ Bet David

Dear congregants and friends,

Bet Menorah‘s chairman Wilfred Lautenberg addressing the viewers of our joint shacharit service last Shabbat morning.

A successful and wonderful weekend lies behind us, with a beautiful service featuring our sister congregation Bet Menorah last Saturday morning. It was a great joy to see their congregants contributing to our service. Week by week we have many “guests” from Bet Menorah, Bet David, Durban and Temple Israel in PE joining us for our services – thank you to all of you for forming a holy community with us in these difficult times.

Congratulations to the new and re-elected leadership of the SAUPJ and its affiliated organisations, who were confirmed at the SAUPJ AGM last Sunday. May your leadership of our movement be blessed with success. Thank you for the past leadership for leading us in the last four years.

This weekend, we return to the regular pattern of our Shabbat weekend with Kabbalat Shabbat on Friday at 18h00, the morning service at 10h00 on Saturday, Havdalah at 18h30 on Saturday and our community get-together on Sunday at 15h00. Details about how you can join the services and the get-togethers are below and in the AdKan (
