IMG_6744Join us for another special Shabbat morning service when we welcome two more wonderful people into our covenant and when we bid farewell to the Miller Family who are making aliyah.

The next Family Service will be this Friday evening, followed by light (pizza) supper. The service not exclusively for families only – everyone is welcome to join, and to participate, and we encourage lay leader participation.

 


Friday 09 December
– 18.00 FAMILY Kabbalat Shabbat service; DECEMBER BIRTHDAY BLESSINGS; Birthday Chocolates sponsored by Elgar & Gail Rogaly in honour of their wedding anniversary. The service is followed by a light supper (sponsors welcome); No Kids’ Club

Saturday 10 December
08.45 Torah Breakfast;
10.00 Shabbat Morning Service, followed by a b’rachah sponsored by Brett, Carol, Terah and Seth Miller who are making aliyah; Welcome of New Jews by Choice
– Deborah Paddock and Nicole Rossouw;
10.00 Kid’s Club: Chanukah Party with Kendyll;
12.45 “Modern Jewish Philosophy” shiur with Brett Steingo

Holiday Schedule
Services will be held each Shabbat at 18.00 and 10.00. At this time of year, your presence as part of the congregation helps insure a Minyan.
Holiday B’rachot catering: Kehillah will be providing a basic b’rachah during the holiday season. If you would like to provide any extras, please bring a vegetarian/parev dish to share.

Office closure during holiday period—Bet David offices will be closed for the Public Holiday on Friday 16 December and for the holiday period from 23 December 2016 to 03 January 2017.
The final Ad Kan for 2016 will be sent out on Wednesday. The first Issue for 2017 will be dated 12 January.
