FEEDING SCHEME SOS

WE ARE IN URGENT NEED OF FOOD SUPPLIES FOR THE FEEDING SCHEME AS WE ARE SHORT. The collection last week was unfortunately very quiet. Thank you to everyone who helped by volunteering and donating. IF ANYONE IS ABLE TO DONATE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING, PLEASE BRING THEM TO THE OFFICE OR WITH YOU TO SERVICES: tinned pilchards, soup packets, peanut butter, oats, long life milk, condensed milk and especially mealie/maize meal (any size).

Yom HaZikaron

Last Sunday I (Rabbi Schell)  had the special honour to recite the prayer for the safety of the soldiers at the central Yom Hazikaron ceremony in Johannesburg. The ceremony was outstanding. I was impressed by the candle lighting ceremony and readings of the youth movement representatives.
