Netzer Gauteng introduction

My name is Thandi Nhlapo and I am the Rosh of Johannesburg, Netzer South Africa for 2017. I have been a part of Netzer since grade 1 and my experiences and education in the movement has taught me essential life lessons that have helped me in both high school and university. Netzer, meaning new shoot, is a Progressive Jewish Youth movement that educates and challenges our youth in order to develop leadership skills as well as their connection to Judaism. Netzer South Africa has branches in Gauteng, Durban and Cape Town where children from grade 1 – 12 are engaged through different activities throughout the year. Netzer aims to involve themselves in many different community projects around the country in order to strive towards Tikkun Olam. I am available to answer any questions via my email – jhb@netzer.org.za
