PESACH AT BET DAVID – A BIG THANK YOU
The congregation celebrated a wonderful beginning of this year’s Pesach. Both, the evening service and the morning festival service were well attended. In his remarks Rabbi Schell pointed out that freedom is nothing that we should take for granted but rather needs our protection and contribution every single day. (There will be a 7th day evening service on Sunday 16 April at 18.00 at Bet David and a festival morning service on Monday 17 April at Beit Emanuel at 9.30.)
For the second time Kendyll arranged an outstanding fun seder for our children. The chocolate themed Haggadah, which Kendyll composed, explained the story of the Exodus, in a very tasty way. Thank you to Sue Jacobson for helping and of course to Kendyll for organizing and running it. (more pictures below)
PESACH 2ND NIGHT SEDER AT BET DAVID
A big thank you to everyone who helped put our seder together. To Rabbi Schell for leading the seder, Cynthia Rosen for her constant shopping and organizing which ensured the meal was outstanding, to Neria for her incredible catering once again, to Justice and Sipho for all the set up, running around and logistics. Thanks must also go to Adrienne Yates for the beautiful floral arrangements and for her help setting the tables and finally to the office staff for organizing everything behind the scenes.
Kol HaKavod and thank you so much!
