Pesach review

Pesach at Bet David

This year’s communal seder was for sure one of the two highlights of our festival services and activities we offered at Bet David. The other highlight was the children’s seder Kendyll led for our children. No doubt, both sederim only had been so successful, because it was a teamwork of so many extraordinary people. Our thanks go especially to Cynthia Rosen, for everything she did to make the Seder such a success – the planning, schlepping, shopping and organising. The meal was outstanding – thanks goes to Neria in the kitchen, Justice and Sipho for their ‘behind the scenes’ hard work and Michelle Eliason’s tireless help on the evening. The home-made ice-cream from Monica Solomon was delicious. Thank you to both our Rabbi’s for leading the seder on Saturday night and Kendyll and her mother, Sue Jacobson (and Rabbi Schell) for the fantastic fun chocolate seder on Sunday. Last but not least, a big thank you to all our congregants who joined the sederim and the services during the festival.
