Friday 27 May – 17.00 Special Lag B’Omer Activity for all children and parents with Kendyll in the Youth Centre; 18.00 FAMILY Kabbalat Shabbat Service (includes all children); May Birthday blessings – chocolates sponsored by Len Gronemann in honour of his recent birthday; Shabbat chocolates – Len Gronemann; Service is followed by a PIZZA supper sponsored by Craig and Claire Lewis as a farewell before the family relocates to the UK.

Saturday 28 May – 08.30 Cheder; 08.45 Torah Breakfast led by Steven and Monica Solomon in the foyer; 10.00 Shabbat Morning Service includes the Bar Mitzvah of Jarod Wolman followed by a b’rachah sponsored by his parents, Darrel and Gillian Wolman;  No Children’s Service and Activities with Kendyll [Rabbi Schell at Temple Israel]

My name is Jarod Wolman and I have been living in Cape Town for the past year and half, but was born in Johannesburg on 20 May 2003. My parents are Darrel and Gillian and I have a younger brother Liam. I go to Oakley House School. I love playing on computers and playing with my friends.
