Shacharit Service (10:00). The service includes the Bat Mitzvah of Romy Myers and is followed by a Brocha sponsored by Jody and Leanne Myers in Romy’s honour.

Romy Myers‘ Bat Mitzvah

Shalom, my name is Romy Myers and I will be having my Bat Mitzvah at Bet David on  6 October. I’m very excited!

I am in Grade 7 at St Peters Girls School. My favourite sports are Athletics and Cross-country. I love to run! I also enjoy art and drama, and I play the violin. My favourite subject at school is History.

For my Mitzvah project, I am having a raffle to raise funds for the Bumble Bee Fund.  The Bumble Bee Fund strives to better the quality of life of disabled children by enhancing their personal mobility and independence.  The money I raise will go to help Zoe, who is 2 years old.  Zoe has seizures and is immobile as a result. She is in desperate need of a posture chair and a wheel chair.
