Shabbat Chol HaMoed with special guest of honour
Dear Friends and Bet David community:
It comes with great pleasure to announce that
Deputy Ambassador, Ayellet Black, from the Israeli Embassy
will be joining us on Shabbat Chol HaMoed 28 and 29 September.
This is a great opportunity for all of us to engage with her in dialogue, to learn more about the current politics of the Israeli Government, the work of the Israeli Mission in South Africa, and how we, as Progressive Jews can foster our own relationship with Israel and create a meaningful relationship with the Jewish state. Ayellet Black will address the community during the Friday night service, and on Saturday morning after the service, in the form of an open Shiur/discussion, taking place in the Sukkah.
