Shabbat Nitzavim and Rosh Hashanah Schedule
Before we enter the New Year on Sunday evening, we have something to celebrate at Bet David: Jessica Williams is becoming a Bat Mitzvah. Please join us for this special service on Saturday morning (at Beit Emanuel, 38 Oxford Rd, Parktown). On Friday we start the festive weekend with a family service and a birthday blessing for all September birthdays (in the Rondavel). Sunday to Tuesday we welcome the Jewish New Year with festival services at the Crawford College. Please make sure you have your ticket printed. About Jessica – Bat Mitzvah 01 October 2016
My name is Jessica Williams. I am 12 years old and I go to Crawford Sandton. I have a younger sister Mia, 2 dogs and 2 cats. My favourite sport is gymnastics. I am a level 6 gymnast and I have got my Gauteng colours. In just a few days I will be going to Cape Town to take part in a national competition. I also enjoy swimming, netball and hockey. My favourite subjects are Drama, Technology, Physical education and Hebrew. I enjoy going to parties, being with friends, spending time with my family, and holidays at the beach.
