Shabbat Re’eh @ Bet David

We are looking forward to sharing with you a weekend of joy and celebration.  After the service on Friday, we have a wonderful chance to mingle and chat at a L’chaim,  sponsored by Eric Milner in memory of his late mother, Patricia Milner.

Netzer will be running the youth service and activities this Saturday while Kendyll is away. They will be here from 10:00, so be sure to be here for some games, running around and loads of fun.

This Sunday, 20 August, 15h00, the SAJBD will  be presenting the Rabbi Cyril and Ann Harris Award for Human Rights to the Mitzvah School.   Molly Smith and Lesley Rosenberg have been recognised for their outstanding contribution and their continued hard work and on behalf of the Bet David Management and Congregation we wish them a hearty Mazeltov.  The conference, starting at 15h00 on Sunday 20 August at Sandton Shul Hall is open to all and we would like to encourage our members to attend and to honour these two wonderful women.  There is no charge for attending however you need to please register as an observer with the SAJBD (http://www.sajbd.org).

Please note: Please enter Bet David via the second entrance at Jolly Dee Nursery School on Middle Road, as the first entrance to Bet David is currently closed.
