Bet David invites you to two special lectures taking place in our Shul.
On Wednesday, 4 December – 19h00, we welcome together with Arzenu, Rabbi Lea Mühlstein. Rabbi Mühlstein is the International Chair of Arzenu, the Zionist arm of the Progressive Jewish Movement. She will lead a discussion titled: Between wrestling and embrace: Playing our part in realising the Zionist dream. Light refreshments will be served.
On Monday, 9 December – 19h00, Dr Taj Hargey, founder of the Open Mosque in Cape Town will give a lecture on Radicalism and Reform in contemporary Islam, titled “The battle for the hearts and minds of Muslims today”.
